So far 2008 has kept me busy. Some of my regular assignments include:
Creating a weekly newsletter for all employees of one of the largest school
districts in Washington State.
Researching, interviewing and writing about graduates from that same school
district about how their school experience has helped them become successful
for the district's web site.
Preparing case studies for Chicago Metallic Corporation, which have included
Bethesda Heart Institute in Boynton Beach, Florida, and Union County Schools
near Charlotte, North Carolina.
Interviewing and writing feature articles for trade publications like Beauty Store
Business, Pro Shop Operator, Waste Age, Blueprints, Texas Meetings +
Events and Northwest Meetings & Events.
Writing for national consumer magazines like Arthritis Today, Better Homes &
Gardens and Pregnancy.
Penning a bi-monthly column directed at 225,000 people in the trucking
industry.
I've also been able to help some editors who gave me some very short turnaround assignments.
I'm also happy to ask for photos or art from the sources I talk to, to take some of the burden off my editors.
